They are responsible for the complete management of projects, from design and estimation to manufacturing, delivery, and customer satisfaction. Therefore, there is a lot of communication with the various departments and stakeholders involved in the project.
In addition to working collaboratively with the production foreman, he acts as an office coordinator and main point of contact with clients, ensuring smooth communication between internal teams, external partners, and clients.
Plan and prepare the production schedule
Coordinate all activities, from design to delivery
Monitor schedules, costs, and priorities
Liaison between the office, the factory, and subcontractors
Account for, analyze, and monitor key performance indicators performance
Identify operational challenges and implement corrective actions
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Supervise, support, and train employees
Supervise the team's tasks and collaborate closely with the Plant Foreman
Manage discipline and maintain a motivating, safe, and respectful work environment
Act as the first point of contact for clients and assess project feasibility
Support teams with technical challenges and client situations
Coordinate activities between the different production units
Approve subcontractor invoices
Negotiate with contractors and regular partners
Training in Cabinetmaking, industrial engineering, production management, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated experience in team management and operations coordination
Excellent skills in planning, organizing, and managing multiple projects
Ability to analyze and interpret performance indicators
Excellent communication skills with internal teams, clients, and external partners
Strong sense of priorities, rigor, autonomy, and inspiring leadership
Proficient in computer skills
Bilingualism (an asset)
