WORK LOCATION: Water Management Laboratory, 2 HOTTE STREET A/S WATER MANAGEMENT LABORATORY LAVAL H7L 2R3
Under the authority of the immediate supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for developing, implementing, and improving sludge treatment processes to enhance the value of municipal biosolids from the City of Laval's Water Resource Recovery Stations (StaRRE). Taking into account the objectives of strategic planning and the priorities of the operational plan, they act as a specialist in biosolids management, organic materials, and agro-environment. They are capable of analyzing and monitoring the operation of sludge treatment systems. They make recommendations and implement changes to increase efficiency. They advise and support the organization by providing recommendations to ensure the smooth running of activities and the sustainability of the biosolid recovery process. They participate in conducting studies and analyses in support of projects related to wastewater treatment or environmental matters.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in bioresource engineering or
agro-environmental engineering or any other
relevant bachelor's degree for the position; - Be a member of the Order of Agronomists of Quebec
Have 6 years of relevant experience.
