DevOps specialist

A global leader in digital transformation, Techso is a fast-growing company offering consulting services in three niches of expertise: technology infrastructure management (IT), specific application development (DEV) and product lifecycle management (PLM).

Founded in 2014, Techso has built a reputation for the quality of its projects delivered to prestigious customers in various sectors such as automotive, aerospace, events, watchmaking, finance and many others.

Techso is looking to expand its IT team. You will work as a DevOps Specialist to meet the needs of our Montreal-based customers.

Responsibilities:

• Work with our customers to configure systems to the distinct needs of each project
• Design and implement cloud architectures and infrastructure (AWX, Azure)
• Deployment, monitoring and maintenance (MCO), administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, ...
• Continuous improvement of our technical foundation (Git, Ansible, Terraform...)
• Training design and delivery
• Participate in on-call and sometimes off-call rotation (weekends and evenings)
• Ensure that the solution is delivered according to the quality, costs and deadlines previously agreed with the customer.

Skills required:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• 4+ years' professional experience in a similar position
• Mastery of a Linux environment (Ubuntu, RedHat, Debian)
• Knowledge of a cloud environment and its components (Azure or AWS)
• Experience in using Open Source applications
• Experience with DevOps tools ( Ansible, Terraform...)
• Experience with virtualization/containerization tools (Docker and/or Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of Agile methodology
• Knowledge of Python and/or Bash scripting languages
• Good interpersonal skills, love of Ops and teamwork!
• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken, as some of your customers will be English-speaking
