Environmental Inspector (Wildlife Management)

Conduct inspections, collecting samples or gathering information and analyzing the elements collected as part of investigations to ensure compliance with municipal regulations.

Perform various technical and analytical tasks necessary for the application of municipal regulations under the responsibility of the Service and for the implementation of projects related to environmental protection in the Laval territory.

Carry out interventions to inform or raise awareness among stakeholders about the current standards and regulations and to rectify situations. Write visit reports or any other documents required according to the nature of the cases handled.

• Hold a college diploma (DEC) in environmental studies, occupational health and safety, or a field related to environmental sciences or other related fields;
• Have two (2) years of relevant experience in inspections, analyses, recommendations related to the environment, as well as the application of policies, regulations, and procedures in environmental matters;
• Having training in acoustics is an asset;
• Having training in construction site safety (ASP) is an asset;
• Hold a valid class 5 driver's license.
