DevOps specialist

An international leader in digital transformation, Techso is a fast-growing company offering consulting services in three niches of expertise: technology infrastructure management (IT), specific application development (DEV) and product lifecycle management (PLM).

Founded in 2014, Techso has built a reputation for the quality of its projects delivered to prestigious customers across a range of sectors including automotive, aerospace, events, watchmaking, finance and many others.

Techso is looking to expand its IT team. You will be working as a DevOps Specialist to meet the needs of our Montreal-based customers.

Responsibilities:

• Work with our customers to configure systems to the distinct needs of each project
• Design and implement Cloud architectures and infrastructure (AWX, Azure)
• Deployment, Monitoring and Maintenance in Operational Conditions (MCO), administration, troubleshooting, tuning…
• Continuous improvement of our technical base (Git, Ansible, Terraform…)
  Training design and delivery
• Participate in an on-call rotation and sometimes outside regular hours (weekends)
• Ensure that the solution is delivered according to the quality, costs and deadlines previously agreed with the client

Required skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• 5 years+ of working experience in a Linux environment
• Strong experience of a Linux environment (Ubuntu, RedHat, Debian)
• Knowledge of a cloud environment and its components (Azure or AWS)
• Experience using Open Source applications
• Experience with DevOps tools (Ansible, Terraform…)
• Experience with virtualization/containerization tools (Docker and/or Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of Agile methodology
• Knowledge of Python and/or Bash
• Good relationship, love of Ops and teamwork!
• Good communication skills in French and English, both written and spoken, as some of your customers will be French or English-speaking
